**The Opportunity**
We are looking for someone who is energetic, productive and is passionate about sourcing employment opportunities for people with disabilities. This opportunity is primarily based in Brookvale office on permanent full-time basis.
As a WorkReady Consultant, you will work with people with disability between the age of 15-65 and support them in preparing and finding a meaningful work. As a consultant, you will help build confidence, identify and develop key job skills including resume and cover letter writing, find suitable study options to reach their employment goals, and overall create a positive employment experience.

A typical day as a WorkReady Consultant may include:
- Developing a person-centred plan with each participant
- Identifying employment and education goals
- Coordinating work experience placements
- Facilitating individual and group-based training sessions
- Coordinating and attending social events and excursions
- Proactively engaging with employers to secure opportunities for participants
This role requires travelling between sites from time to time to support the WorkReady team.
**About You**:
To be successful as a WorkReady Consultant, prior experience in Employment Services, NDIS, education or youth work is highly desirable (but not essential). If you have demonstrated experience in providing great customer service, meeting and exceeding KPIs and outcomes, and like working with people, then we would like to hear from you.
Success in this role will also come from your natural ability to engage with a wide variety of external employers and providers to market your services to secure education and work opportunities for the participants you’re working with.
Essential criteria:
- Understanding of person-centred approach
- Drivers licence (minimum P2)
- Ability to undergo satisfactory background checks including NDIS Workers Check and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong administrative skill set
