Working onsite with our team in Sydney, you will report directly to the Laboratory Manager and work closely with customers across multiple industries to understand their calibration needs and deliver impactful solutions which will include research, design and production. You will be responsible for conducting on-site calibration and certification for temperature and relative humidity equipment to ensure the accuracy and reliability of equipment critical for life science research, development and manufacturing processes and include ovens, furnaces, baths, freezers, humidity systems, temperature and temperature instrumentation and sensors.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide technical support to customers inc facilitating re-certification testing
- Ensure compliance with ISO 17025 (NATA) and ISO 9001 standards
- Communicating with customers onsite regarding quotes, delivery, and test reports
- Accurate reporting and production of calibration reports
- Manage the Test Equipment Resource Plan, including all allocation and calibration details
- Conduct test and measurement equipment calibration using manual and automated procedures
- Maintain and update calibration certification records for lab and field equipment
- Drive the development of automation procedures for all relevant test equipment
- Create and maintain calibration procedures and documentation
- Keep the calibration lab and storage areas neat, ordered, presentable and operating in a safe manner in accordance with WHS requirements
- Ensure that all logistics, freight tracking and asset management systems are kept up to date with test equipment location
- Participate in the on-call process as required
- Proficiency in MS Office and general computer skills

**Required Experience**:

- Highly desirable experience in instrumentation and calibration
- Ability to work autonomously both in the office and onsite
- Degree or diploma in engineering, metrology or a related field
- Practical knowledge of mechanical, physical and dimensional test equipment
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Full working rights in Australia
