Cafe Manager

Neighbourhood Cafe Warragul has a very exciting role available for a Cafe Manager. Neighbourhood is a vibrant local cafe in a newly renovated Corner Store building, neighbouring residential homes, walking tracks, schools and parkland.

Neighbourhood is open 7 days a week serving breakfast, lunch, specialty coffee and lots of other goodies. You’ll be working with a very professional kitchen team who will give you the freedom to focus on providing fantastic customer service and beverage service. Training and a smooth transition will be provided by our current manager.

**What you’ll do**:

- Create a welcoming environment where every guest feels valued, fostering loyalty and return visits.
- Lead and inspire a dynamic team by setting clear goals, offering guidance, training new skills and helping them grow within the cafe.
- Ordering and management of front of house and beverage products, ensuring all expenses align with targeted budgets.
- Manage the hiring and weekly rostering of all front of house staff.
- Train staff on hospitality & cafe processes and actively seek opportunities to refine and enhance processes.
- Maintain strong collaboration and communication between the Chef’s and owners.
- Ensure the venue is kept clean and well presented each day.
- Ensure full compliance with health and safety policies.
- Deliver outstanding customer service to both guests and team members, building lasting relationships with all parties.

**What You’ll Bring**:

- Previous experience in a similar role within a fast-paced hospitality environment is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay: From $70,000.00 per year
