- Develop comprehensive policies and position statements.
- Devise and implement effective advocacy strategies.
- Establish valuable networks with stakeholders, identifying potential partners.
- Provide prompt responses to urgent issues while managing multiple long-term projects.
- Contribute to the design, implementation, and coordination of policy development efforts.
- Prepare research summaries, correspondence, and briefs to support informed decision making.
- Conduct research and analysis to identify emerging trends and issues relevant to policy development.
- Coordinate projects to ensure timely delivery and continuous improvement processes.
About You:
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and attributes:
- Recent demonstrated experience in a similar position, showcasing your expertise.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in health policy, communications, political science, or related fields.
- Proven track record in developing health policies, position statements, and briefing papers.
- Experience within a medium to large-scale organisational policy environment.
- Confident in providing well-researched, balanced, and expert policy advice.
- Enjoy collaborating and effectively communicating across various program evaluations.
- Previous experience working in areas such as community engagement, research, education, and policy.
