**About the role**

The **Production Operator**role**is a** Full-Time**position, based at our PGH Bricks site in **Oxley, QLD**. Reporting to the** Manager**you will be responsible for the operation and production of bricks, while maintaining quality, low cost, and safe work practices.

In this role you will**:

- **Prioritise Safety**: Actively support and promote a safety-first culture. We aim for a zero-harm workplace where everyone looks out for each other - Never Walk Past principle.
- **Daily Production Support**: Help maintain and improve daily production targets, working together with your team to meet shared goals.
- **Drive Continuous Improvement**: Get involved in team-based improvement programs aimed at reducing costs, streamlining processes, and increasing efficiency.
- **Preventative Maintenance**: Participate in regular maintenance activities to help ensure smooth and safe operation of factory equipment.
- **Performance & Collaboration**: Manage your day-to-day tasks proactively, while working closely with your teammates to maximise productivity and support each other.
- **Quality Assurance**: Carry out routine checks to uphold our high standards in product quality and brick production targets.
- **Keep It Clean & Organised**: Maintain a clean and safe workspace that supports everyone's well-being.
- **Innovation & Feedback**: Share your ideas with the management team and contribute to ongoing plant improvement projects.
- **Logistics Support**: Perform forklift duties as part of our logistics operations

**What you bring to the role**

- Willingness to work a rotating roster.
- Proven success in a similar role, preferably in a high volume, multiple stage continuous manufacturing / factory environment is desirable.
- Forklift license
- Strong understanding of production operations
