**Job no**: E49QY**Category**: Nursing & Midwifery, District NursingThe NUM is responsible for provision of high-quality care to all clients, and their families through effective leadership of the Visiting Nursing care team and through the management of departmental resources. These responsibilities are delivered within a framework of continuous quality improvement, ensuring realistic utilisation of available resources, while providing administrative guidance and clinical support to all nursing staff.

You will have current registration with AHPRA, proven clinical skills in relation to assessment (inclusive of wound management), care planning, evaluation, referral and advocacy and demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills and proven ability to prioritise tasks. Experience with management and care of Central Venous Access Devices would be an advantage. A commitment to the ‘Great Care at MDH’ philosophy is essential.
