The position
The Debating & Public Speaking Coordinator at Canberra Girls Grammar School will be responsible for overseeing
and managing the Junior and Senior Debating programs, working closely with debating coaches and relevant
providers. They will also lead the creation of a public speaking program, guiding and mentoring students to
participate in a range of competitions, events, and other public speaking activities.

They will play a key role in planning, organising, and supervising the programs, including the ACT Debating
(ACTD) Competition, the IGSA, IPSHA Debating Program, Festival of Speech, social debating events, Interhouse
debating, Mock Trial, WIDPSC and Model United Nations activities.
