**About this Role**
- Full Time, Fixed Term (3 terms - Parental Leave cover)

- Location: Merton Hall Senior School Campus, 86 Anderson Street, South Yarra
MGGS is seeking an outstanding **Product Design and Technologies (Textiles/Fashion)** educator with passion, vision, and the ability to inspire students across Years 7-11. Industry experience, including the use of CAD and sewing machines, will be highly regarded.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and creative learning programs in Product Design and Technologies (Textiles/Fashion).
- Inspire students with innovative approaches to curriculum and pedagogy.
- Provide targeted feedback and design high-quality formative and summative assessments.
- Use digital tools effectively to enhance teaching and learning.
- Build positive and respectful relationships with students, colleagues, and families.
- Contribute to co-curricular and pastoral care responsibilities as required.
- Collaborate with colleagues within the Technologies department and across the school.
**About You**
- Undergraduate degree in the relevant teaching area and current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration.
- Strong understanding of curriculum, assessment, and inclusive teaching practices.
- Proficiency in using student data to inform teaching and improve outcomes.
- Skilled at creating engaging, inclusive learning environments.
- Competence in using digital platforms such as Microsoft Office 365, Synergetic, and SchoolBox.
- Collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to the values and child safety standards of MGGS.
Salary is in line with Schedule 1 - Teacher Rates of Pay of the MGGS Enterprise Agreement 2023 ($88,140 - $131,352 plus superannuation), dependent on experience and qualifications.
