**About the opportunity**

Once you have navigated your way successfully through the rigorous interview stages and your reference check's confirm your credentials. You are ready to start as the **Lead D365 FinOps Finance Functional Consultant**.
You will work closely with this organisations top tier end user clients understanding their business processes, gather requirements, and providing your expert functional expertise to implement and optimise the new Microsoft D365 FinOps Finance solution being implemented.

**Day to Day responsibilities**:

- Work collaboratively with clients to analyse their business processes and requirements, and provide expert advice on leveraging D365 FinOps capabilities to meet their needs.
- Conduct workshops, interviews, and data analysis to capture and document client requirements, ensuring a thorough understanding of their business goals and objectives.
- Design and configure D365 FinOps solutions to meet client requirements, including the setup of financial modules, general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, budgeting, and reporting.
- Develop functional specifications and collaborate with technical teams to ensure successful solution delivery.
- Support the implementation and testing phases of D365 FinOps projects, including system integration testing, user acceptance testing, and data migration activities.
- Provide end-user training and support during system go-live and post-implementation phases.
- Assist clients in defining and optimising their business processes to align with industry best practices and D365 FinOps functionality.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends and developments in D365 FinOps and related technologies, and share knowledge with the team and clients.
- Contribute to pre-sales activities, including proposal development, solution demonstrations, and client presentations.

**Duties**:

- Hosting and leading client requirement workshops
- Creating solution documentation
- Assisting client with completing Configuration Workbooks
- Configuring Dynamics 365 F&O to match Configuration Workbooks
- Demoing the product and training users in the product
- Mentoring junior resources in the product
- Specifying and documenting functional enhancements from client requirements
- Create test scripts from a functional enhancement requirement
- Liaising with technical consultants to build technical specifications
- Creating test scripts from functional specifications

**Your Experience**
- You will have 8 years experience implementing D365 FinOps Finance and Dynamics AX.
(5 years / D365 FinOps and 3 years Dynamics AX)
- Bring a that "Can Do Attitude" every day to the workplace or when working from home
and demonstrate that innovative mindset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Relevant University degree or an industry recognised qualification - preferably accounting
- A passion for problem solving enabled through technology
- Solid understanding of business processes and Australian accounting principles and standards
- Previous consulting experience with a professional services firm or a software implementation vendor is highly desirable.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Certified D365 FinOps MB-300 or MB-310) highly advantages
