Postal Services Officer - The Pines Post Office

The Pines Post Office is looking for a friendly and dedicated Postal Services Officer to join our growing team. We provide the full range of Australia Post products and services, and this is an exciting opportunity to become a key part of a fast-paced and customer-focused environment.

Position Details
- Casual role: 5 days per week, including some Saturdays.
- Office hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm; Saturday, 9:00 am - 12:00 pm.
- Hourly rate: $33.31

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking someone who is:

- Friendly, enthusiastic, and reliable.
- Passionate about delivering excellent customer service.
- Physically fit, with the ability to lift up to 16 kg of mail regularly and stand throughout your shift.
- Experienced in cash handling or customer service.

Your Responsibilities

As a Postal Services Officer, you’ll:

- Conduct and process a range of identity service transactions, including Australian Passport interviews.
- Handle high-value transactions accurately, including cash, cheques, credit cards, and EFTPOS.
- Build strong relationships with customers by understanding and meeting their needs.
- Promote Australia Post products and services through up-selling, cross-selling, merchandising, and other promotional activities.
- Assist customers with mail lodgements and associated costs.
- Support the team with administrative and general store duties.

Pay: $33.31 per hour

Expected hours: 24 per week

Supplementary Pay:

- Overtime pay
- Penalty rates

**Experience**:

- Post Office: 2 years (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)

Work Location: In person
