**About us**
Established in Australia in 2001, Praemium has grown to be a global market-leading provider of investment platforms, investment management and portfolio administration. As
**UX Designer** you will lead the information architecture and design of a world-class wealth management platform with access to thousands of user transactions a day to test and reform your design.
As a UXer you will play a key role across the development teams in the creation and continuous improvement of our world class wealth management platform. This is an exciting opportunity in a period of growth for Praemium's platform, including new products and services as well as improvement of our microservices apps and rich software experiences today, as well as evolving our core system. You will work with innovative dev teams, and creative thinkers with the freedom to extend themselves and create engaging, modern experiences, without hindrance.
**The Role**:
You will drive user-centric UX thinking, synthesise your thoughts and ideas with the teams into prototypes and experiments, and continue iterating.
You will be working closely with technology teams to create warm, engaging experiences sharing often cold financial data, through experiment-led design and software creation. You will help raise the bar of UX and design thinking within the organisation, including across the business.
So experience in designing and leading developers to implement a CSS and instill design principles is a must. As is working with interactive prototyping tools. The reskinning is to achieve efficient navigation, clarity of text and labels, consistency, readability, scannability. Also given that this is a financial services administration platform, you will need to be able to work with the challenge of pages that need to work with large volumes of data.
**Experience, qualifications, and attributes**:
- 3+ years of relevant experience in designing user experiences and collaborating with agile teams to build engaging and intuitive products
- Experience working with financial service products is a plus
- Experience developing and enhancing CSS templates
- Display experience of working with and extending design systems and pattern libraries
- Using customer insights and data to drive the design process
- Able to mentor other technical team members in customer experience and journey
- Have proven record of ability to negotiate resolutions to complex issues and define project scope
- Some research and testing experience

- Comfortable working in an Agile environment, adopting a consultative and cooperative approach to your work
**What we provide for you to thrive in and out of work**:
- Excellent working conditions - work from home and onsite in Melbourne CBD, with a flexible schedule.
