**About the Job**

In this role, you will be responsible for extruding pipe to precise measurements and quality standards. Proficient in maintaining extrusion machines, tools, and equipment to ensure safe and efficient production.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Machine Setup and Operation**:Configure and operate extrusion machines, ensuring they are set up correctly for the production of pipes to meet quality standards.
- **Quality Control**: Monitor the extrusion process continuously to maintain product quality, including dimensions, thickness, and surface finish, and take corrective action as needed.
- **Troubleshooting**: Identify and resolve issues during the extrusion process, such as material jams or product defects, to ensure smooth operations.
- **Record Keeping**: Maintain detailed production records, documenting machine settings, material usage, and quality control data accurately.
- **Safety Compliance**: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to create a safe working environment for yourself and team members.
- **Cleaning and Housekeeping**:Keep work area clean and organised to ensure safety.

**About You**
- Prior experience within manufacturing environment.
- Possession of a current forklift license Essential
- Mechanical aptitude and proficiency in using hand tools are beneficial qualities.
