Dematic Pty Ltd are currently looking for a Forklift Field Service Technician with Forklift mechanical and electrical experience. This is an opportunity to launch your career in the automation material handling industry You will join our team based at Notting Hill and through our expert training you will have the opportunity to build a career while working on some of the world's most advanced robotic forklifts. This is a field service position, so you will be working at our customer sites across Melbourne, with occasional interstate and national travel.

**The Role**

You will travel to customer sites locally across Melbourne (and occasionally interstate) and be responsible for:

- Calibration and set-up of sensors, scanners and automation equipment (training provided)
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting software and hardware issues on-site
- Servicing and repairs on various sizes and models of AGV forklifts
- Non-specialised mechanical repairs
- Mast regreasing and chain replacement
- Wheel bearing service and replacement
- Diagnosing and replacing power and control fuses
- Drive and load wheel replacement

**Requirements for Success**
- Mechanical/Electrical forklift technician background is required
- Hydraulics and/or pneumatics experience is desirable
- High quality customer service and communication skills
- Be a champion of health and safety compliance
- Strong problem-solving abilities and solutions focused
- Be a team-player and enjoy helping others
- Current driver’s license
