**About the role**:
The primary purpose of this role is to manage the delivery phase (procurement and construction) for small to medium scale building projects identified in the Capital Works Program. Responsibilities will include all aspects of project management and planning to ensure that the required project timeframes, construction quality and budgetary constraints are met.
**What you will be doing**:
- Liaise with Asset Planning Staff regarding the planning and design of projects to ensure the needs of the community are met
- Prepare quotation and tender packages
- Oversee procurement processes including calling for quotation/tender submissions, requests for information (RFI’s) and engagement
- Evaluate quotation/tender submissions and make recommendations to award contracts
- Administer contracts and control all incoming and outgoing project documentation
- Act as Superintendent/Superintendent’s Representative
- Identify project risks and mitigation strategies.
- Program, manage and coordinate the delivery of projects.
- Provide regular project delivery progress reports and updates, especially with regard to financial status, completion date and stakeholder management.
- Provide technical advice to management.
**About you**:
To be successful in this role you will have:
1. Degree/Diploma in Construction Management, Project Management or similar
2. White Card - General Construction Induction
3. Drivers Licence (Class C) - NSW
4. Three (3) years experience in a similar role
5. Tendering Guidelines for NSW Local Government
**Remuneration details**:
Permanent full-time role (position no. S0790) Salary: Up to $100K + Superannuation
