**About the role**:
Are you a morning person? Have you got a great sense of humour? Are you an experienced Disability Support Worker who can assist our Client with his morning routine? Then please read on as this job position might be for you.
Our Client has a great sense of humour and loves a prank or two. It would be a bonus if you like NRL football and love fishing because then you would share similar interests to our Client. Our Client has a large dog, so the ideal applicant needs to like dogs. We are looking for someone who is resilient and thick skinned and can assist our Client on all kinds of days.
This position will involve supporting with manual handling, personal care, catheter care, meal prep and domestic tasks. Previous experience with manual handling and catheter care is required.
Our Client will require assistance from 7am each day until 930am.
**Our base weekday daytime rate is $33.21/hr. Our all-day Saturday rate is 45.33/hr. Our all-day Sunday rate is $58.30/hr. Please note pay rates are set and non-negotiable.**
You will have support in your role via a comprehensive care plan and support from our awesome Support Specialist team.

- To deliver high quality support to our Clients in the capacity they require, the exact way they would like it delivered
- Communicate effectively and collaborate for our Clients needs with our Clients, team & Support Specialist
- Understand, follow instructions, and be responsive to our Clients needs
- Provide support to our Clients as required
- Have good rapport building skills and a gentle, encouraging manner
- Be reliable and flexible to fill shifts when required
- Have an interest in building a respectful relationship with our Clients
- To support our Clients to achieve their NDIS Goals

- Resonate with the role description above
- Hold NDIS worker screening or yellow card (or willingness to obtain)
- Hold or be willing to obtain a blue card
- Hold Certificate III in disability or related fields (preferred)
- Have evidence of eligibility and right to work in Australia
- Have a genuine desire to positively change people's lives
- Have manual handling experience
- Have catheter care experience

**Salary**: $30.00 - $39.99 per hour
