Our client, an established business, is seeking a motivated apprentice wishing to continue/commence an apprenticeship as a Heavy Commercial Trailer Technician in a busy workshop specialising in the service and modification of heavy commercial trailers for prime movers. The transport industry is an industry that has and continues to experience phenomenal growth. Getting qualified with this trade will be a pathway to a number of highly rewarding related industries.
- Have the motivation/drive to succeed in the trade
- Possess a manual licence, reliable transport
- Be punctual, reliable and have a good attendance record
- Be motivated and have a positive attitude towards all aspects of the trade
- Follow instructions well
- Able to think outside the square and problem solve on the fly
- Able to Work safely
- Be an Australian citizen or have permanent residency status
- Be able to work in a drug free environment
- Be open to gaining experience in all facets of the trade.
- Have the ability to achieve sound results in a maths and mechanical aptitude test that all applicants will have to undertake.
- Applicants with prior experience will be given preference and if possible fast tracked through recognition of prior learning and flexible college options

Pay: $14.70 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 50 per week
