Southport Sharks boasts a diverse range of food and beverage outlets, multi-purpose Events Centre with capacity for 1000 people, gaming room, kids' zone Health and Fitness Centre and a 120 room Mantra Hotel which includes a breath-taking rooftop bar.

**About the Role**

Key responsibilities include:

- Provide a team briefing at the commencement of each shift with the team
- Monitor staff working hours in accordance with trading patterns
- Coordinate rest pauses and meal breaks
- Monitor staff productivity, service standards and performance on a shift-by-shift basis
- Mentor staff and provide on-the-job training to new team members
- Delivering a high standard of service to members and guests
- Providing table service and table clearing services to guests
- Arranging furniture as required
- Handling all cash transactions associated with food, beverage and any other services to guests in an efficient manner, ensuring the security of cash and the privacy of member details at all times
- Maintaining a clean and tidy environment
- Working with a team who have a strong Workplace, Health and Safety focus
- Working with a team who set high grooming standards

**About You**

As someone with previous experience in the hospitality industry, you will possess a passion for delivering excellent customer service. You will have a willingness to build long-term relationships with our members and will have impeccable grooming, presentation and communication skills.

**Required Skills & Competencies**:

- Ability to lead a team and handle difficult situations
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as a team
- Excellent organisational skills
- A keen eye for detail
- Trustworthy and reliable
- High level of grooming and personal presentation standards
- Reliability and the flexibility to work a variety of night and weekend shifts, which may include public holidays

**Experience & Qualifications**:

- Must have strong experience in Hospitality
- A minimum of 2-3 years of F&B Supervisor experience
- Current Qld RSA can be beneficial
