**About the Role**
You’ll be working in collaboration with a variety of stakeholders to assist in the completion of audits in alignment with our Internal Audit Plan. Utilising a risk based approach, the key objectives of each audit are to assess the appropriateness and effectiveness of processes and controls to mitigate key risks within the auditable area and to identify commercial, value-adding improvements. Working with the Internal Audit team, business leaders and internal stakeholders, and supporting the Senior Internal Audit Manager, you will plan, execute and report on a portfolio of internal audits occurring concurrently. Your strong stakeholder management and communication skills and passion for continuous improvement means that you’ll be confident in suggesting improvements to the way we do things. Your resilience, ability to influence and persistence means that you’ll have the relevant skills to ensure audits are completed within deadlines. We pride ourselves on strong customer service and engagement. This role does have present difficult conversations and situations at times, so we are always finding the best solution for our customer and the business.
**About you**
As our newest Internal Audit Manager, it would be ideal if you have worked in a similar role in the Financial Services / Banking Industry, so that you can understand why we do things and how we can make improvements. What is most important is your ability to build and develop strong relationships with our stakeholders. You have demonstrable experience in managing concurrent audits and will see challenges as opportunities for growth. In addition, you will enjoy staying up to date with relevant industry and technical initiatives and have the ability to translate this knowledge into value adding advice for key stakeholder.
