**Role Overview**
The Sales Specialist will be responsible for supporting the Sales Manager with quote preparation and customer service for existing clients to ensure customer needs are addressed promptly and professionally. It is expected this role will evolve to include identification, development then manufacture of new products which will mutually benefit the company and customers.
**Key Responsibilities**
- **Customer Service Support**_
- Provide day-to-day support for existing customers, including monitoring sales orders, responding to enquiries, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Assist in addressing customer enquiries efficiently and escalate where necessary.
- Monitor customer feedback and collaborate with internal teams to implement service improvements.
- Set up and maintain account management and review processes.
- Liaison between internal departments to facilitate order delivery to customers.
- **Sales Support**_
- Collaborate with the Sales Manager to prepare proposals and quotes which align with customer expectations.
- Track sales performance metrics and assist in reporting.
- Coordinate customer reviews, sales actions and supporting documentation.
- Update sales forecasts and delivery dates.
- Handle difficult situations effectively, ensuring customers feel supported and valued at all times.
- **Sales Development (Future Focus)**_
- Research and identify potential new customers within target markets.
- Attend industry events and trade shows as needed.
**Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)**
- **Customer Service & Sales Support**_
- Customer response time:
90% (measured via feedback/surveys)
- Quote turnaround time: within 5 business days
- **Skills & Experience**_
- Extensive experience in product brand sales and customer service within a personal care or cosmetic B2B environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-first mindset
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through on tasks
- Technically minded - experience working in manufacturing, product development and goods distribution is highly regarded
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach with a genuine interest in helping businesses grow
**Growth Path**
This role is designed to grow into a proactive sales development function. Training and mentorship will be provided with a clear pathway to creating new business opportunities and sales revenue.
