Under the direction and leadership of the Deputy Principal in your role as Head of Department (5-6 & Specialists) you will:
- Focus on initiatives to support the educational outcomes for students, specifically in the upper primary phase of learning
- Determine actions for at risk students through data analysis at key junctures, and strategise interventions
- Work with, and build teachers' capability in using data to provide effective differentiated instruction to a diverse student cohort
- Lead the development and implementation of high-quality curriculum (V9) and pedagogical practices to increase student engagement through the provision of high-quality advice to the school leadership team, classroom teachers and support school staff.
- In conjunction with the Deputy Principal develop, coordinate and implement targeted teaching intervention in the areas of Literacy and Numeracy in response to student data to support every student succeeding
- Be committed to creating a school wide culture of wellbeing, engagement and personal achievement that values diversity, responding to the needs and interests of students and staff.

- Capacity to manage effectively human, financial and physical resources to deliver high quality organisational outcomes.
