We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic Pet Handler / Driver to join our team in **Melbourne - Tullamarine **on a **Casual** basis.

**Job tasks and responsibilities**

The successful applicant will be responsible for **pet handling, driving **and crate building.

**Skills and experience**

In order to be successful, you will need to possess the following key selection criteria:

- A love of animals and **professional **animal handling experience is essential
- A professional customer service-orientated approach to work
- A full drivers licence and safe driving record
- Ability to work autonomously when required
- A strong and professional work ethic and excellent attention to detail
- Additionally, you will have an energetic and positive nature and enjoy working as part of a highly motivated team
- Capable to look after the animals within our care with some lifting involved

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $31.50 per hour

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Public holidays
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
- Penalty rates
- Performance bonus

Ability to commute/relocate:

- EAGLE FARM, QLD 4009: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Animal handling: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Full Driver Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
