**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Develop and Manage Construction Schedules: Create and maintain detailed project timelines to guide teams, ensuring efficient resource allocation and timely project completion.
- Collaborate with Key Stakeholders: Engage with architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to integrate input and align the construction program with project goals.
- Leverage Project Management Software: Utilize software tools for accurate creation, updates, and management of construction schedules, enhancing the scheduling process.
- Conduct Critical Path and Risk Analysis: Identify critical paths and assess potential risks to prioritize tasks, allocate resources effectively, and develop contingency plans to prevent delays.
- Provide Real-time Schedule Updates: Regularly update schedules to reflect changes, providing project teams with current insights for informed decision-making.
- Optimize Resource Allocation: Evaluate and allocate resources efficiently throughout project phases to ensure cost-effectiveness and minimize waste.
- Implement Change Management and Continuous Improvement: Follow change management procedures to assess impacts on schedules and promote ongoing learning by integrating best practices and industry trends.
- Perform Forecasting and Time Impact Analysis: Analyze historical data and current trends to forecast project needs and evaluate the impact of changes on timelines.
- Ensure Compliance with Industry Standards: Stay updated on construction regulations and safety requirements to ensure schedules comply with legal standards.
- Facilitate Team Collaboration and Communication: Foster a collaborative environment through clear communication channels, schedule workshops, and training to align project teams.
- Monitor and Report on Schedule Performance: Track and evaluate schedule performance metrics, providing comprehensive reports to stakeholders on progress, milestones, and risks.
- Coordinate Multi-Project Scheduling: Manage schedules for multiple projects simultaneously, balancing priorities and optimizing resource utilization across all endeavors.
**REQUIREMENTS**:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Project Planner role in the commercial construction industry.
- Hands-on experience with project management software tools, such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar.
- Experience coordinating the scheduling of multiple projects simultaneously showcases the ability to manage complexity and prioritise tasks effectively
- Experience conducting training sessions or workshops related to construction scheduling.
