**Component Workshop Manager**

**The Opportunity**:
The Components Supervisor is responsible for the efficient supervision and operation of the Components area.
This role ensures that all activities are conducted safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company standards and client requirements.
The Components Supervisor will manage a team of mechanical tradespersons and apprentices and coordinate with other departments to ensure timely delivery and quality of all jobs.

**The Work Scope**:

- Supervise and coordinate component rebuilds and major change out projects, ensuring productivity and standards are met.
Plan and prioritize jobs to meet component rebuild and major change out project deadlines.
- Ensure that all components are rebuilt in compliance with industry standards and company specifications.
- Manage and mentor a team of tradespersons and apprentices, providing training and development opportunities.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Enforce safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments.
Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure high standards of work.
Conduct inspections and tests on components machinery to verify performance and durability.
Address any quality issues promptly and implement corrective actions.
- Liaise with clients to understand their requirements and provide updates on component rebuilds and major change out projects.
- Address and resolve client concerns and feedback in a timely manner.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through high-quality component rebuilds and major change out projects and timely delivery.
- Prepare regular reports on component updates for clients.

**To be considered you must have / be willing to obtain**:

- Relevant technical qualifications or trade certification in mechanical engineering, heavy duty mechanics or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a workshop environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role. Experience in rebuilding underground mining equipment is highly desirable.
