**Role Purpose**
As our Operations Excellence Manager you will be responsible for the effective implementation and execution of a defined operating strategy to help our field teams reach their full potential.
You will also be responsible for identifying and implementing continuous improvement initiatives with a strong focus on good manufacturing practices and will have a keen eye for detail and efficient in everything you do, providing ground support and training to execute key initiatives.
As our Operations Excellence Manager you will also own and manage key programs within the business that enhance our daily operations and improve operational efficiency and execution, you will do this by continuous improvements of current systems based on feedback and observation.
In your role as Operations Excellence Manager, you will also be responsible in ensuring that our factory sites are prepared and ready for new product launches and promotions, by ensuring successful operations trials and training have been completed on time and effectively.

Tasks
 Every day at Krispy Kreme presents different challenges and while you will need to be flexible and adaptable to meet them all, there are some tasks that will form the backbone of your work as our Operations Excellence Manager:
- Support operations on the ground with on-the-job training and Operating improvements
- Continuously review the Krispy Kreme GMP system to ensure it is working effectively with full accountability and engagement at site level
- Continue to identify operational opportunities and gaps, build robust plans for continuous improvement and provide recommendations to the Head of Operations Development and our Engineering, Manufacturing & Innovations teams
- Creation and ownership of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Complete site investigations to support Food Safety and WHS as required
- GTM Lead for manufacturing, identifying, and resolving specific operating challenges and risks
- Coordination of Manufacturing product trials with effective risk management and solution-based framework
- Support with completion of internal audits and bench marking as required.
- Work closely with key stakeholders to improve the communication process and get better engagement.
**Skills & Qualifications**

- HACCP certified, Auditing QMS certification or appropriate industry/professional experience
- Intermediate level Microsoft word/power/excel qualification.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in operational roles, preferably within a food manufacturing background
