**About the role**

The Maintenance Officer maintains a comfortable and safe living environment for the residents, staff and visitors to Southern Cross Care.

Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:

- responsible for the day-to-day and preventive maintenance of our residential facility, plant and equipment.
- liaising with suppliers and contractors, induct staff, advise our OH&S Committee and contribute to (or even initiate) special projects.

- Applicants with previous experience in an Aged Care setting will be highly regarded.
