**What this opportunity involves**:
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated, bright and enthusiastic professional Assistant Facilities Manager to work onsite for a major financial services company.
As the Assistant FM, you’ll ensure the delivery of optimal facility management services such as service contracts, related budgets and tenant liaison to facilitate works across a portfolio of properties.
In this busy and diverse role, you’ll;
Assist in the management of engineering and building maintenance contracts including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, security and fire contracts
Prepare, manage and report on budget, an expenditure for repairs and maintenance and capital works projects or facilities related issues
Carryout building & branch inspections
Manage a team of people responsible for the delivery of customer and property services to a portfolio of buildings
Respond to and manage ad-hoc requests for repairs and maintenance within pre-determined budget
To be successful, you’ll be a confident self-starter who possesses excellent communication skills, a passion for providing quality customer service and a keen eye for detail You’ll be a collaborative team player who adopts a hands-on approach to problem solving, and has the ability to prioritise and juggle multiple tasks.
You’ll demonstrate flexibility, an ability to adapt to ambiguous and sometimes stressful situations. Willingness to travel and a driver’s license will be required for the role.
