Casual Mindfulness Teachers deliver Calm Hearts Mindfulness Pty Ltd’s exclusive Mindfulness-based program to schools and preschools around Newcastle and the Hunter Valley. This role involves teaching and facilitating lessons to aid the mental health and overall wellbeing of children and teachers.

This role is 1.5-3 days per week, however job share is available.
- Responsibilities_
- Deliver Calm Hearts Mindfulness Pty Ltd’s Mindfulness-based programs at a high standard (noting that this often requires repetition of lessons)
- Present sessions in Primary School and Early Education settings during Term 4, noting that future terms may involve teaching in Early Education settings
- Clean and maintain your supplied Mindfulness kit
- Complete required training
- Liaise with Calm Hearts Mindfulness Pty Ltd management and clients as required, and attend staff meetings.

Selection Criteria
- Bachelor Degree in Teaching or Early Education, _**or equivalent experience (experience is highly regarded)**_
- Experience in mindfulness practice and a passion for sharing this
- Ability to quickly establish rapport with children
- Ability to use appropriate classroom management techniques
- Current driver's licence and own transport

Pay: $55.00 per hour
