**About the Role**
The City of Playford has an exciting opportunity to join the Library Services Team. We are looking for a dynamic and passionate individual to plan, develop and deliver programs.
Reporting to the Manager Library Services, the Library Officer - Program Delivery will support the development and delivery of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Maths (STEAM) programs and activities.
**Key Accountabilities**
- Support the development and delivery of STEAM programs and activities to achieve positive digital literacy and learning outcomes for the community
- Assist with establishing and implementing a schedule of ongoing library-based STEAM programs and related services for targeted audiences in the Playford community
- Proactively engage staff and volunteers to effectively extend and expand STEAM programs and their reach

In addition, you will have:
- Demonstrated understanding of the STEAM disciplines.
- Demonstrated experience in teaching and engaging effectively with diverse learners of all ages in the STEAM disciplines.
- General scientific knowledge and understanding in the areas of mathematics, electronics and technology.
- Ability to assist others in the use of tools and equipment commonly found in Maker Spaces.
- Knowledge of the Symphony Library Management System.
- Good general scientific knowledge in the areas of mathematics, electronics and technology.
- Ability to assist others in the use of tools and equipment commonly found in Maker Spaces. Experience in delivering training sessions to a variety of age groups.
- Ability to confidently use and adapt to new technologies.
