**About the role**
Queanbeyan Trade Centre Mitre 10 are currently seeking an outgoing and knowledgeable individual to join the team as a Weekend Duty Manager. Reporting to the Store Manager David, you will be responsible for assisting him in providing leadership to the store to maximise sales, minimise costs and create an environment that promotes individual growth and development for our employees, as well as safety being part of your day-to-day culture.
As a senior leader, you will have previous leadership experience in a high volume Store environment. You are a leader who believes that developing the skills, knowledge and behaviours of your team is critical to success. Your attention to detail in critical data analysis and understanding of stock flow principles will feed our pipeline and control costs.
Having a passion for outstanding customer service outcomes will see you deliver sales targets and KPI’s which you will have the ability to influence in your Store.

- Ensure a high standard of customer service and presentation of products in the store in order to maximise sales and exceed customer service expectations
- Provide accurate product advice to trade customers and fellow staff
- Ensuring the health and safety of all fellow staff, customers and contractors within their store

- Demonstrate a strong customer focus and competently deal with customer queries and complaints
- Ability to be available for work across the weekend including some weekdays (to be discussed).
- Previous people leadership experience
- Be self-motivated and show initiative
- Prioritise workload to effectively meet deadlines
- An eye for detail and a sense of urgency to achieve results
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to drive sales and profit
- Project a professional image at all times
