**Selection Criteria**:
- SC1 Demonstrated ability to carry out repairs and maintenance to buildings and grounds to a high standard (formal trade qualifications and/or training is desirable).
SC2 Demonstrated capacity to work as a member of a team, to follow instructions and take on the responsibility to work independently without direct supervision.
SC3 Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with a range of people in a work/school environment.
SC4 Demonstrated knowledge and awareness of Occupational Health and Safety guidelines and practices in relation to the role.
SC5 Demonstrated commitment to professional learning and growth.
**Role**:
- The attendance of this role requires the successful applicant to:
- work from 7:30am - 3:36pm each day,
- work one week of each of the term holidays, and
- work two weeks of the summer holidays.
- Wimba Primary School is looking for a full-time Facilities Manager.
- be a fully qualified tradesperson (e.g. plumber, electrician, etc),
- positively impact the culture of the school, by engaging with all
- stakeholders (students, staff, families),
- be self-directed but able and willing to follow directions from the Principal,
- work from 7:30am - 3:36pm each day,
- work one week of each of the term holidays
- work two weeks of the summer holidays.
- Range 3 is distinguished by the introduction of management responsibility and accountability for the delivery of professional support services. The role will usually impact beyond the work area or professional field. It seeks to gain cooperation of other staff members or members of the school community to achieve specific objectives, such as in school administration, operations or educational programs.
