**About the Role**

You will assume responsibility to provide quality education and care to our children, to maintain appropriate records based on written observations and evaluations of children's development and to ensure a safe environment for both educators and children. Our curriculum approach is child centered, family focused and connects with the community. The curriculum is aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework and the NQS standards.

Established in 1996, Donvale Early Learning Centre has been providing quality care and education for over 25 years. Our centre is licensed for 103 children, up to 6 years old. We provide an open and inclusive workplace, with ongoing training and professional development to grow your career.

**Skills Requirements**
- Cert III or above qualifications
- At least one year experience as an educator in long day care centre
- Current Working with Children Check, First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis Training
- Child Protection Information Certificate
- Ability to build rapport easily and quickly with parents, staff, children and the wider community
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Sound understanding and experience implementing the EYLF & NQS
- Confidence to take on new initiatives within the centre
- Computer literate

**Job Types**:Part-time or Casual available

**Salary**:Above award pay. e.g. Diploma room leader from $30.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
