**Job Title**: Café All-Rounder / Barista Assist
**Location**: Redland Bay Village, Stradbroke Street, Redland Bay
**Employment Type**: Casual or Part-Time (10+ hrs per week, depending on experience)
**Working Days**: Weekends and some weekdays (availability for a short dinner shift on Friday and Saturday nights is highly regarded)

**About the Role**:
Merak GF Café is currently seeking experienced, reliable, and professional Café All-Rounders / Barista Assist with Barista experience to join our growing team. This is a customer-facing role in a fast-paced artisan café with a strong focus on quality service and attention to detail.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Greet and serve customers with professionalism and care
- Operate POS efficiently and handle takeaway and dine-in orders
- Assist in beverage preparation and support the barista team - including making coffees when needed
- Reset, clean, and maintain front-of-house areas to a high standard
- Communicate clearly with team members to ensure smooth operations
- Support basic food service as needed (e.g. making and plating our delicious house-made waffles, handling cabinet food)

**What We’re Looking For**:

- Prior experience in a café or hospitality role is essential
- Customer-focused mindset and strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and remain calm during busy service periods
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently when required
- Available weekends, some weekdays - Friday and Saturday night dinner service availability would be highly regarded.
- A willingness to learn and contribute positively to the team environment
