**Infrastructure People are partnered with a leading business specialising in recycled resources, who are actively seeking a HSEQ Manager to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an organisation that is experiencing remarkable growth and offers long term career opportunity.**

**Your key responsibilities will include**:

- Auditing of sites and processes.
- Manage and develop training for the business in HSEQ aspects.
- Initiating and improving on internal systems for HSEQ matters.
- Ensuring compliance with all legislative requirements and obligations by practically applying/imparting NSW WHS legislative knowledge as required
- Assisting in the implementation of project safety management plans and company HSEQ policies and procedures in supporting safety and environmental performance and compliance
- Managing safety and environmental hazards and incidents in a proactive manner, demonstrating care and alignment with business values
- Conducting site inspections and Incident investigations and reporting
- Assisting in coordinating health and safety initiatives delivering continued improvement
- Supporting project and operational HSEQ Compliance
- Compiling relevant company reports as required

**Skills and experience**
- 8+ years’ experience as a HSEQ Advisor & Manager
- Tertiary level or equivalent in OHS or relevant field
- A full working knowledge of HSEQ systems.
- Strong knowledge of Safety and Environmental Legislation, Standards and codes of practice.
- Be able to show initiative and communicate confidently at all levels.
