**The Role**

We’re seeking an **Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Technician**to deliver planned and reactive maintenance across HVAC and refrigeration systems — including chillers, package units, split systems, ventilation and filtration. In this mobile role, you’ll support a wide range of client facilities, ensuring systems run efficiently, safely, and reliably, while partnering with the BGIS team to deliver industry-leading service.

**What You’ll Be Doing**
- Install, test, maintain and repair heating, cooling, and refrigeration equipment
- Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical defects in HVAC systems
- Inspect, maintain and service chillers, refrigeration, ventilation, and BMS systems
- Perform preventative maintenance and respond to breakdowns across client sites
- Foster strong client relationships and ensure service delivery meets KPIs
- Provide technical support and mentor apprentices where required
- Participate in on-call roster for after-hours support
- Ensure compliance with WHSE processes, industry standards, and BGIS systems

**Your Education, Experience & Skills**
- Trade qualification and licence in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration (mandatory)
- Refrigerant Handling Licence (Arctick)
- Restricted Electrical Licence
- White Card (General Construction Induction)
- Current manual driver’s licence (essential)
- 1-5 years’ experience in a similar HVAC/refrigeration role
- Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in dynamic environments
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Full working rights in Australia (essential)
