**We Are Hiring**

Disability Support Worker required in the Marrickville region

Casual positions available for Tuesday day, Wednesday evening, and Sunday day shifts. We have available hours throughout the week with a variety of shifts, ranging from 9am - 3pm and 6pm - 10pm. Currently seeking a definite requirement for Tuesday 9am - 3pm and Thursday 9am - 4pm.

$31.50 - $60.00 per hour depending on the shift time

**Essential Criteria**:

- Driver’s Licence with own reliable transport
- Covid-19 Vaccination Certificate (3 doses)

**Desired Criteria**:

- Current Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- NDIS Worker Clearance
- Experience with complex nursing needs (PEG feeding, blood sugar management)

**The Successful Applicant**

To be successful in this role, you must have:

- Excellent verbal communication skills

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide care and support to our clients living with disabilities
- Knowledge and experience with manual handling and the use of mobility equipment e.g. hoist, manual and electric wheelchair,
- Be flexible with shift availabilities
- Assist with personal care, domestic household duties, assisting with medication and meal preparation
- Basic administrative tasks - Report in app daily progress/hand-over notes
- Report to management in case of any incidents or issues
