We are looking for a talented Mechanical Technician with either a light vehicle or heavy commercial qualification to join our high performing workshop team.

**In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways**:
- Deliver a first-class service to our customers- Complete service, repairs and maintenance of heavy diesel products in our workshop- Support engine rebuilds- Diagnose and repair various engines predominately across mining, on-highway, industrial and power generation- Ensure adherence to all relevant Health Safety & Environmental policies, procedures and legislation and report any issues / incidents to the Workshop Manager- Complete required documentation, such as service worksheets, timesheets, warranty claims, quality documents via handwritten forms or business system input screens- Be part of a community of like-minded individuals, who value your input & are open to all viewpoints & communication

**To be successful in this role you will need the following**:
- Mechanical trades qualified as a Heavy or Light Vehicle Mechanic (to Australian standards)- Previous repairs and maintenance experience with Marine, Power Generation, On Highway Truck, Mining, Construction or Agriculture desirable but not essential.- Cummins or Diesel engine experience is desirable but not essential- Solid diagnostic and problem solving capabilities- Be a team player & be prepared to adhere to Cummins Policies- Ensure adherence to all relevant Health Safety & Environmental policies, procedures, and legislation, reporting any issues / incidents to shift supervisors
