The German Saturday School is looking for a teacher for their Year 9 class, commencing immediately.
**About the GSS**
We are a community school operating from 9am to 12pm on Saturday mornings during the school year. The school has been operating for over 150 years and over a decade on the current site at the Clifton Hill Primary School.
The school offers classes for German language and DACHL (Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Liechtenstein) cultures and has about 160 students from kindergarten to upper high school. The GSS caters for a range of German language abilities and has recently redeveloped its curriculum based on the Victorian Curriculum F-10.
Furthermore, the school is qualified to offer the German Language Diploma exam, _Deutsches Sprachdiplom_, at Level I, the _Goethe Zertifikat A1 + 2_ and is a member of the _PASCH - Schools: Partners for the Future network_.
**What we are looking for**:
- Qualified teachers of German or professionals without teaching qualifications but with experience in teaching German language (e.g. tutoring German)
- A high level of written and verbal communication skills in German and English
- A high level of interpersonal skills including the capacity to develop constructive relationships with students, parents and other staff
