**Your role**
The Investigator is responsible for performing assessments and investigations as instructed by the Investigations Manager, ensuring effectiveness while adhering to legislative requirements, established methodologies, and organizational guidelines.
**What you’ll do**
You will be responsible for conducting investigations into matters of interest and sensitive incidents, providing evidence-based reports and findings for senior management review. This includes undertaking research and factual inquiries to enhance the governance and effectiveness of DCJ and CSNSW.
The Investigator prepares comprehensive, timely investigation reports and briefing notes to support decision-making. You will deliver high-quality customer service either independently or as part of a team, ensuring business outcomes are met while maintaining strict confidentiality and integrity of sensitive information.
**What we’re looking for**
To be successful in one of these roles, you will need:
- Certificate IV in Government Investigations or completion within 12 months of commencement in role
- Current driver’s licence and preparedness to drive a vehicle in the course of performing the role.
- Capacity and willingness to spend periods away from own residence.
- National Criminal History Record Check in accordance with the Disability Inclusion Act 2014 Working with Children Check clearance in accordance with the Child Protection (Working with Children) Act 2012**Download the**role description**
