Support Worker

We are looking for caring and reliable support worker to assist our male participant in Croydon area on a Thursday 9am - 3pm and every second Saturday 10am - 2pm

You must have your own car and Vic drivers license with experience. an NDIS Worker screening Check and be super reliable and be available for the above days and times.

Hourly Rate + Super + PLSL + Paid both travel time and kilometres + ongoing professional development and supportive team environment + Flexible working hours that make sense for you + 'Refer a friend' Bonus program

In addition to this particular role, we have regular ongoing work, with regular clients, so you will know when and who you will be working with + Work close to home - we don't expect you to travel across town

Task include:

- Personal Care
- Assistance with medication
- Meal Preparation + cooking
- Community Access
- Companionship
- Domestic Assistance

Ideally, you will have some experience in the health sector, but if not, we would still love to hear from you if this is a career you want to pursue.

A Certificate III in Aged Care, Home and Community Care, Disability or Individual Support (desired but not essential)
- Current and valid Driver’s Licence and insured, reliable motor vehicle
- Capacity to embrace a role that is meaningful for the community and yourself
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with a customer service orientation
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage time

As a support worker you will be supporting people with daily activities such as cooking, cleaning, laundry, assistance in the community and being a companion
- Qualified support workers will also support clients with personal cares, assistance with mobility and prompting with medication
- Support clients to achieve their goals and make choices
- Promote customer choice, positive routines and activities ensuring they are meaningful to the participant

To Be Successful:

- NDIS Workers Screening Check, or willing to apply
