**Key Responsibilities Include**:
- Be involved in the development, revision and implementation of risk assessment processes, and safe operating procedure’s
- Undertake planned task observations, which will improve our team’s performance and validate the effectiveness of our risk control measures.
- Identification and introduction of Corrective Behaviours to limit our teams exposure to hazards
- Conduct verification of competency (VOC) of our work activities
- Be action orientated and proactive to drive results
- Ensure all workplace health and safety (WHS) legislative requirements are adhered to
- Be responsible for preparing training metrics and results as required by management
- Organize and deliver materials such as lesson plans, competency assessments and visual aids for all training programs
- Able to write reports, business correspondence, and procedural manuals
**To be considered you will need**:
- Minimum 5year's demonstrated experience in a similar Training and Development role
- Minimum 2 years exposure/experience in the transport, logistics, warehousing and or freight industry
- Minimum Certificate IV Training and Assessment
- Minimum high risk work licence for forklift operation
- Advanced, demonstrated level use of Microsoft Office Suite
- Good analytical, reporting and planning skills which will facilitate efficient workforce planning, high attention to detail and cost management
- Lead auditor qualification in WHS and/or quality management is extremely desirable
- Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and deal with multiple activities simultaneously
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated experience dealing with internal and external stakeholders
- Be flexible with working hours
