**About us**
**Customer Service Lending (CSL)**sits within CommBank’s Retail Banking Services division and brings together all our proprietary lenders, across branch, mobile and Premier Banking - the business has over 1800 lenders and support staff. CSL’s key objectives are to grow proprietary mortgage lending, delivering exceptional customer service outcomes and a differentiated service model.
The **Premier Banking**business specialises in relationship management of our top clients across CommBank with a team of over 250 colleagues nationally.
**About the opportunity**
Reporting to the General Manager, the **State Manager Premier Banking QLD/WA/SA**leads a multi-state-based team and is responsible for the delivery of business unit sales goals, build deep relationships with clients and lead & inspire a team of relationship managers.
This role is responsible for supporting the Premier Banking Business in achieving business imperatives through delivery of effective leadership, building deep client relationships and continually improving operational processes.
Fundamental to achieving success is the ability to generate, develop and manage relationships, as well as effectively executing strategies aligned to the Premier Banking Business channel
Additionally, you will:
- Role model a customer centric culture and use positive customer outcomes as the basis for goal setting, strategies and performance.
- Achieving excellent customer service by understanding the business drivers of contacts and partners and their industries/ segments against the CBA purpose and values.
- Execute business plans for the Premier Banking business to ensure that goals and objectives can be met;
- Lead your team to their sales targets and actively develop relationships with all strategically important clients to ensure sales targets are met.
- Monitor revenue and portfolio balance growth.
- Establish and drive positive working relationships with internal business units and broader Product teams to optimise and improve business performance.
- Maintain and develop internal relationships with all key internal Stakeholders group wide.
- Contribute to project planning, scheduling, monitoring and reporting on initiatives that impact existing RM processes and procedures.
- Develop and professionally deliver presentations to a wide range of audiences on a broad range of topics relevant to the industry and business.
- Stay abreast of relevant regulatory initiatives and proactively cascade information where appropriate.
- Risk management - effective role modelling and leadership of risk culture.
**About You**
We are looking for people with the below skills and experience:
- Extensive experience and knowledge in mortgage lending, preferably within a distribution channel
- Experience of leading and motivating large teams in a distribution environment
- Exceptional relationship management experience across a broad range of stakeholder and partner groups
- Track record of influencing both internal and external stakeholders across different markets to achieve organisational outcomes
