**The Role**: We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Disability Support Worker to provide one-on-one support to a male participant in Caboolture, QLD 4510. The participant sustained severe burns and is a bilateral lower leg amputee following a truck accident. This position is available immediately, with a regular shift every Tuesday and Thursday from 9:00 AM to 6:30 PM.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Support during each shift includes assisting the client with the following:
**Daily Support & Personal Care**
- Support with Client's personal care and morning routine
- Help prepare Client's son for school and manage the school drop-off
- Accompany Client to appointments and therapy sessions
- Assist with meal preparation and planning

**Community Access & Social Participation**
- Support Client with grocery shopping and errands
- Assist with unpacking and organizing items in the home

**Domestic Assistance** Under client's direction, provide help with household tasks such as:

- Cleaning and storing dishes and cutlery
- Vacuuming, mopping, and wiping down surfaces including cupboard doors
- Keeping the fridge clean and disposing of expired food items
- Emptying bins and replacing bin liners
- Changing bed linens, folding laundry, and managing washing as needed

**Compensation**:

- Day Shift: $45.00 per hour
- Afternoon shift: $49.50 per hour
- Night shift: $50.40 per hour
- Saturday shift: $63.00 per hour
- Sunday shift: $81.00 per hour
- Travel Allowance: $0.99 per km (for medical-related travel)

**Skills & Experience Required**:

- Valid Australian Driver's License
- Certificate III in Individual Support
- Current Police Clearance
- Current First Aid and CPR Certification
- Current Blue Card
- Current NDIS Worker Screening
- Completion of NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- Completion of NDIS Support Effective Communication Module
- Third Party Compulsory Insurance
- Reliable, proactive, and positive attitude
