Cleaning Service Supervisor

We're seeking a motivated and experienced Supervisor to join our team. This is a working supervisor role, where you'll lead a team on-site, providing instruction and actively participating in the cleaning of range hoods, ductwork, and other kitchen exhaust components.

As a Cleaning Service Supervisor, you'll be a key member of our team, both leading and working alongside our cleaning technicians. You will be responsible for guiding the team on-site, ensuring quality work, and upholding our company's safety standards, all while actively participating in the cleaning process. This role requires a strong leader with proven technical skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to motivate a team.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead and supervise a team of cleaning technicians on-site, providing clear instructions and guidance.
- Actively participate in the cleaning of range hoods, ductwork, fans, and other kitchen exhaust components.
- Train and coach team members on proper cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and company protocols.
- Ensure compliance with all OH&S regulations and company policies.
- Maintain and inspect equipment, ensuring it is in safe and working condition.
- Communicate effectively with clients on-site, addressing any questions or concerns.
- Complete necessary paperwork and documentation accurately and on time, utilizing computer skills as needed.
- Contribute to maintaining a positive and productive company culture.
- Problem-solve on-site challenges and ensure efficient workflow.
- Report directly to management with concerns arising onsite.

**Essential Skills and Experience**:

- Demonstrated experience in cleaning kitchen exhaust systems, including rangehoods, ductwork, and exhaust fans, or other similar equipment.
- Strong understanding of OH&S regulations and safe work practices.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proven ability to train and coach team members effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient computer skills for documentation and communication.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid manual driver's license with a clean driving record.

**Desirable Skills and Experience**:

- Proven experience leading and motivating a team in a hands-on environment.
- Previous experience within the hospitality sector is a plus.
- Working at Heights, Police Checks, and Working with Children Checks.
- Experience with specific cleaning equipment or techniques.
