Your Role

As the Yard Supervisor, you will be responsible for the safety, organisation, and efficient operation of our Seaford Depot. You'll lead yard staff, coordinate truck loading/unloading, maintain equipment, and ensure all safety and compliance procedures are followed. You'll work closely with the Yard Foreman, the State Manager and the team to keep operations running smoothly and safely.

Key Responsibilities:

· Lead and supervise yard staff, allocating daily work and supporting training

· Coordinate truck loading/unloading and stock movement

· Ensure all equipment is compliant, tagged, and well maintained

· Maintain fuels and gas ordering supplies as needed

· Conduct toolbox talks, safety inspections, and report incidents

· Maintain the yard, buildings, work areas to ensure that they are clean, organised, and safe at all times.

· Check that equipment is properly cleaned and prepared ready for hire

What We're Looking For:

· Previous experience in a yard or workshop supervisory role

· Strong understanding of safe loading, storage, and handling procedures

· Forklift licence necessary

· Excellent people management and communication skills

· Reliable, proactive, and hands-on approach

· Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment
