Boilermaker

By-Tech Engineering is a rapidly expanding family engineering company located in Archerfield working within a diverse range of industries including designing, fabricating, installing and maintaining of plant and equipment in the food, manufacturing, building/construction and materials handling industries.

Due to an increase in our workload, we currently have positions available for a trade qualified workshop Boilermaker / Fabricator and a site installer to join our team working on local projects.

The preferred applicants will possess the following.
- Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication or Equivalent Trade
- Relevant experience in structural fabrication or fabrication in medium to heavy industry and site installation work
- The ability to pass a weld test.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and designs.
- Ability to perform fabrication and assembly of components in workshop and or site environments.

Some highly desirable but non-mandatory attributes include.
- Forklift License
- Working at Heights training
- EWP

**Salary**: $40.00 - $48.41 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
- Penalty rates

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Archerfield, QLD: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Welding: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driver Licence (preferred)

- Australia (required)
