Experienced General Practitioner required to work at the immigration detention center clinic at Broadmeadows on a casual basis.

**Role**:
In this role you will provide primary health care services to the people residing in the Immigration Detention Centre. The key responsibilities are to:

- To assess, diagnose and treat clients in immigration detention at the General Practice level
- Provide advice and education to nurses and allied health professionals as necessary or as requested.
- Liaise with all parties involved in the medical management of clients in Immigration Detention.
- Ensure accuracy and maintenance of all medical records and compliance with professional standards.

**Required**:
To be considered you must have:

- Full unconditional registration with AHPRA as a Medical Practitioner;
- Fellowship of the RACGP or recognition as a General Practitioner
- Primary Care experience essential;
- Superior clinical decision-making in a busy work environment
- Live in Melbourne and have full working rights in Australia
- Current First Aid or BLS certificate or willingness to obtain
- Current Federal Police Check or willingness to obtain
