Are you looking for an opportunity to make a positive impact on the community and provide support to young people facing mental health challenges? EACH is seeking a dynamic and experienced **Social Worker - School Services** to join our team.

In this role, you will work with secondary school students in the City of Casey and Cardinia Shire,_ _providing mental health service provision to young people and their families.

Working in partnership with headspace Narre Warren and headspace Pakenham, you'll deliver short
- to medium-term psychological services, and engage young people in early help seeking while providing a seamless and coordinated treatment pathway. You'll also provide evidence-based psychosocial interventions to young people and their families as needed, while providing information on mental health, drug and alcohol problems, and other available services.

**Qualifications**:
To succeed in this role, you'll bring an inherent passion for working with secondary school students facing a broad range of mental health and social challenges. With tertiary qualifications in Social Work, you'll have strong problem-solving and negotiation skills, along with highly developed interpersonal and communication skills.

You will bring a heightened knowledge of common mental health and social problems faced by young people and the indicated evidence-based treatment options for a successful outcome.

Your experience in working with young people and understanding adolescent development will enable you to provide well-developed counselling, mediation, and assessment skills to provide

**Additional Information**:
Reporting to the Senior Clinician Coordinator
- School Services, you will form part of a robust School Services Team which consists of several school programs across the Casey Cardinia region, and across headspace centres at Narre Warren & Pakenham.

Working collaboratively with a wide range of professionals, will be well-supported by the Team Leader, Clinical Lead and other members of the school leadership teams and external health professionals/services where necessary.
