**The Role**

Part of the Research and Development program team, you will be responsible for developing and conducting research projects, to provide high quality scientific outcomes. You will work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure business practices are informed and to broaden knowledge in the international domain.

**Duties**
- Research leadership - carries out research in agreed project areas
- Mentors and participates in the professional development of junior research staff.
- Collects and analyses data, according to agreed project plans
- Effectively communicates research findings to relevant parties, in a variety of formats, tailored for the recipient
- Develops a strategy for translation of project findings into policy or practice and works with stakeholders to implement the translation strategy.
- Completes any reporting and administrative record-keeping.

**The Person**
- 1-to-2-year experience as a postdoc in health sciences, epidemiology, public health, marketing, psychology, or a related field
- Demonstrated proficiency in quantitative research methods and in the analysis of quantitative data
- Expertise in use of analytic and statistical software e.g.: SPSS, STATA, R.
- Expertise in preparing high quality research project proposals.
- Experience in managing individual research projects, including design, implementation, and evaluation.
- Commitment to the translation of research findings into practical outcomes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to communicate research outcomes in high quality presentations, briefings, or written reports to a variety of stakeholders and consumers.
