About the Role
The Principal Project Officer will work in the Curriculum team and:
- Develop departmental policy advice related to providing the Australian Curriculum, differentiated teaching and learning and pedagogy;
- Create and deliver professional development to regions and schools on the Australian Curriculum, student diversity, differentiated teaching and learning, Individual Curriculum Plans and pedagogy using a range of digital delivery methods;
- Collaborate with OneSchool to ensure functionality reflects policy positions;
- Develop briefing materials, submissions, papers, reports and correspondence; and
- Liaise with and building positive working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
Flexible work arrangements are available with this position.
About You
**The ideal applicant will have the following key attributes**:
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of the Australian Curriculum and the Department's strategic plans and policies, and the P-12 Curriculum, assessment and reporting framework.
- High level written, spoken and digital communication skills including the ability to create high quality professional development materials and a demonstrated ability to deliver digitally.
- Experience working on complex projects to achieve required outcomes within set timeframes and on budget.
