Assistant Nursing Director Pemr Project

**Key Responsibilities:
Clinical/Technical:
Provide senior clinical informatic leadership and assistance to the eHealth Queensland Digital Health projects.
Work collaboratively with statewide clinical networks, working groups, and data and analytic staff to influence workflows that improve clinical care and complement accurate collation of data for reporting and improvement purposes.
Assist in the delivery of statewide digital projects responsible for achieving digital transformation objectives.
Individual and organisational Management:
Lead and manage prioritisation of Project operational, enhancement, and clinical demand for digital healthcare change, including workload allocation and project activites.
Actively contribute to workforce planning and resource management to meet service requirements.
Human resource activities including overseeing and supporting orientation, performance appraisal, and development.
Leadership:
Lead and contribute to state wide digital healthcare portfolios responsible for achieving the successful delivery of key digital project and optimisation initiaitives that meet the needs to achieve transformation objectives.
Lead, coordinate, and support key digital working and governance groups and associated change activities and digital innovation.
Demonstrate advanced management skills and decision making processes that minimise risk and optimise resources, service, and efficiency.
How you will be assessed:
Demonstrated high level management skills transferrable across the DHBS/OCCIO team to ensure alignment to Queensalnd Health, eHealth Queensland strategy, operational plan and priorities.
Demonstrated ability to advocate for team priorities on matters of high importance, using negotiation and conflict management skills with relevant statewide stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to rapidly respond and reprioritise work to minimise risk and disruption to project operational delivery and patient safety impacts.
Demonstrated high level management skills and decision making processes that minimise risk and optimise resources, service and efficiency.
Mandatory qualifications/professional registration/other requirements:
Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) as a Registered Nurse (RN). Certified copies of the required information must be provided to the appropriate supervisor/manager before the commencement of employment.
Significant experience in the delivery of complex information management in a healthcare setting.
Proven high level of interpersonal, negotiation, consultation, verbal, and written communication skills, ranging from the ability to formally brief organisational leaders to coaching and mentoring team members.
